I was born right here in Grand Rapids Minnesota and raised in nearby Coleraine. It is safe to say I know our market area do to my interests in almost all outdoor activities including, hunting fishing, skiing, and golfing.
I am married to a great lady since 1981 with three super children of 19, 17, and 13. As a family we enjoy camping, traveling, and water skiing.
I have a history of work since a paper route at 12 years of age to auto mechanics, carpentry, restaurant management, and ten tears with the U.S. Postal Service. I have been a licensed Realtor for 11 years and carry a Brokers License, a GRI designation, and previously an Appraisel License. I have also been a director on our local board of Realtors. I have been a Realtor in Itasca County for the last 10 years and have vacationed, fished and hunted in it for over 38 years. My wife and I purchased our home on Horseshoe Lake in northern Itasca County in 1979. My husband Denis and I have a lovely home on Sand Lake in northwestern Itasca County. Since moving up here in 2000, we have enjoyed being year round residents because of the beauty the four seasons provide.
I took an early retirement from Blue Cross and Blue Shield to relocate to this area. In addition to Real Estate I am also a supervisor for the Sand Lake Township. My hobbies include photography, boating, garage sales and hiking with my two Golden Retrievers. My wife Kathy and I became full time residents of Itasca County when we moved into our Sand Lake home seven years ago. Previous to our moving here, we frequently visited and vacationed in the area for the past thirty years. We fell in love with the natural resources and beauty of the area.
